Mount Everest and What I want to be when I grow up.

This week we "climbed Mount Everest". The mountain is 29,013 ft. tall (the tallest mountain in the world), so we acted out the climb, going from base to camp. We learned that climbers have to acclimatize to adjust to the changing climate and elevations. The climbers do not go alone though. They take a sherpa or a guide to lead them up the mountain. The sherpa guides and carries the vistors' bags. I've always wanted to have the guts to actually climb the mountain, but I'm deathly afraid of heights.

I've always thought of two professions to do when I became older. An advertising director and an architect. I love selling things to people and convincing them that it is something they want. I always like planning advertisments and being creative. The idea of being an architect has always interested me in many ways. From designing the building to decorating the inside. I can't wait to start a career.

Hey Avery,
I think the career you want to do when you grow up is very appropriate for you because you seem like you would be very good at persuading people to buy things.

Avery I loved my marketing classes in college. I liked being creative and trying to sell products to people and figuring out how to make that happen.
